It wasn't on purpose. I wasn't looking for anything but advice.
I had thought for years about writing a book about blogging. After doing it successfully for years and helping others start and manage their blogs, I thought, "Why not?"
Over the weekend, the subject came up and I thought now is the time.
I went to Reddit and I've seen the AMA - Ask me anything" section. Expecting a question or two to alert me as to the prospect of doing the book, I posted, "I published a blog on a whim and it took off right away. It turned into the daily news of the town where I live, it ended u being read all over the world. I won many awards and made a living from it. AMA."
And boy, did the questions come in. It let me know that there was a need for a book or booklet or something. Then I thought, why not a blog about blogging?
I would suggest this for anyone who is trying to get subscribers. For instance, if you write about bicycles. Why not post something like, "I am a bicycle expert. I blog about it and answer many questions about safety, best bikes to buy, etc. etc. AMA." And see what happens!
A person who writes on food can say, "I am a food blogger. An expert on food. AMA" It's as simple as that. People will enquirer about what the URL is for the blog and you'll see results.
Join in. You can read it here but I would love if you subscribed here.
